550th anniversary of the commissioning of the Istropolitana University in Bratislava (1467-2017).

Obverse

The national side of the room represents the figure of a teacher and two students placed in front of the facade of the building of the ancient Istropolitana Universitas in Bratislava. In the upper left is the medallion of King Matthias Corvinus, founder of the university. Above the medallion is the inscription "1467", an opening year of the university. The country of emission "Slovensko" appears at the base of the inner circle, above the year of program "2017". Along the left edge of the inner circle is the inscription 'Univerzita', and along the right edge 'Istropolitana'. In the lower part is the brand of Kremnica currency (Mincovna Kremnica), composed of the initials "MK". Below the workshop brand are the stylized letters "MP", the initials of the designer, Mária Poldaufová.

The outside ring of the room represents the twelve stars of the European flag.
