Obverse

The theme of this play is creativity and innovation, the annual theme chosen by the European Community.
In the center of the play is represented a book from which the three feathers of Saint-Marin are released. Above a compass and research tubes. On the upper part of the room is written "Creativita 'Innovazione". On the lower "San Marino", the issuing state. Other inscriptions are readable, such as the letter "R" which is the monetary workshop of Rome, the vintage and the signature of the artist Analisa Masini "A.M.".
