Obverse

The drawing represents a mixture of traditional popular games with Maltese children. These include traditional balls, toupies and kite. A Maltese version of the Habre, known locally as "Passju", is also represented. Three flying bees in a circle refer to a popular song sung by Maltese children during the game. The drawing includes the name of the emitting country, "Malta", and the year of broadcast, "2020".
The outside ring of the room represents the 12 stars of the European flag.
