OBVERSE

To celebrate the sporting exploits of Asterix, the Monnaie de Paris is exclusively minting a shaped coin
representing the most famous of the Gauls. Perched on the highest step of the podium, Asterix stands proud and
carries in his hand a laurel branch as a reward for his sporting exploits.

REVERSE

The reverse of the coin is decorated with pictograms relating to sport and Olympism and presents the face value of the coin, its year and the acronym RF for "French Republic".
