Obverse

On the face of this play, emblematic elements of the novel twenty thousand leagues under the seas are deployed, evoking the marine universe. Captain Némo, aboard the famous Nautilus, is in the center, behind the tentacles of a giant calamar. Under the shark, three dialing advances, in search of a treasure. Basically, the wreck of an old ship symbolizes the underwater adventures of the characters. We also find the title of the novel, twenty thousand leagues under the seas, as well as the name of the author, Jules Verne, and the vintage 2025.

Reverse

The reverse is common to the whole series "The art of the pen". We can see there registered several emblematic quotes such as "the best is the enemy of Voltaire" of Voltaire, "Lascate Ogne Speranza Voi Ch'intrate" by Dante Alighieri, "to be or not to be, that is the question" of William Shakespeare or "was Mich Nicht Umbringt Macht Mich Stärker" by Nietzsche. A feather is engraved in the center of the room. Below, the title of the series is present. The mention "RF" is present at the bottom of the room as well as the hallmark of Joaquin Jimenez and the engraving workshop.
