OBVERSE

The original medal which depicts Daniel Morgan's Victory on the obverse depicts him full length,
preparing to be crowned by a Native American queen, allegory of America; figure
female dressed in a short breastplate and wearing a feather headdress.

REVERSE

The reverse shows the commander-in-chief leading the charge on horseback, followed by his troops on foot and overthrowing the fleeing English opponent. It is signed by the engraver Augustin Dupré, then holding the role of general engraver of the Paris Mint.
