In 2018, the royal currency issued a series of collectibles dedicated to the history of navigation. Due to their great acceptance among our collectors, this year it was decided this year to continue with a new series, this time dedicated to the history of aviation.

This collection retains a structure similar to the previous one, made up of 20 pieces on the obverse of which are represented in color the images of the planes which, for one reason or another, are or have been emblematic during history, with the 'Appearance of certain planes for which Spain has contributed to their manufacture.

All the parts, struck in cupronickel, have the same diameter (33 mm) and a facial value of 1.5 euros. The maximum print of this collection is 7,500 units.

The common reverse also represents a propeller with two blades exceeding a central circle of the room. Outside this circle are the images of two turbines.

The parts are produced over several years, the box was released in 2020.
