Obverse
On the face of this currency 250 € Silver 1/2kg Be, the portraits of Marten Soolmans and Oopjen Coppit are represented colored, on the ground. They are very slightly enlarged compared to their original version in order to best represent the details. The names of the subjects, the painter and the vintage separate the two paintings. The currency outline is decorated with the original frame of portraits.
Reverse
The reverse, common to the whole collection, represents the Louvre building seen from the interior courtyard. In the foreground is the famous Pyramid of the Louvre, through which we see an essential work: the victory of Samothrace. The name of the museum is inscribed in the bottom of the pyramid, as well as the punches at the ends. The mention "RF" and the facial value are above the roofs of the Louvre palace.
