OBVERSE
The hand-engraved portrait of the polymath Janez Vajkard Valvasor is the main motif on the front of the note. The profile silhouette filled with micro-writing completes the image. On the left side of the note, the motif of a pair of geodesic compasses is printed in intaglio. The watermark bears the face of JV Valvasor.
REVERSE
On the reverse side, several segments of the map of Slovenia and the final vignette depicting two angels, taken from the book by JV Valvasor entitled "The Glory of the Duchy of Carniola", are printed using the intaglio method. The left side of the note bears the inscription "Dulcis ex labore fructus"
