The internal part of the room shows the architecture of the station represented in all its originality. It is a reinforced concrete work covered with a steel roof.
On the reverse is representing the southeast TGV and the duplex TGV appearing side by side. The one on the left corresponds to the first train on the line, the one on the right to the very last.
The Lyon-Saint-Exupéry station was put into service in 1994 its singular architecture which resembles a bird taking off was designed by the Spaniard Santiago Calatrava.
