Obverse
The internal part of the part represents the effigy of Primož Trubar in profile on the left. On the left, in two semicircles, the inscriptions "Primož Trubar" and "1508-1586". Bottom right, in a semicircle, the inscription "Slovenija 2008". The external ring of the room represents the twelve stars of the European flag.
Primož Trubar was a Slovenian Protestant reformer. He was founder and first superintendent of the Protestant Church of Slovenia, unifying the Slovenian language and author of the first book printed in Slovenian.
