100th anniversary of the Royal Meteorological Institute of Belgium (1913-2013).
Obverse
The obverse of the room displays in its center the number 100 with the first zero surrounding the abbreviations 'KMI' and 'MRI' and the second zero representing a sun. ISOBARES, Rain drops and snowflakes are represented on the left of the sun. The year '2013' is displayed in the upper rays of the sun and the nationality 'be' is indicated on the lower rays. The punch of the master of currencies and the punch of the Brussels workshop, a helmeted profile of the Archangel Michel, are displayed under the '1' of the number '100'. The outside ring of the room carries the 12 stars of the European Union.
