Each currency of this collection highlights one of the key characters of Asterix: either Asterix itself, obelix or idefix. The money of 10 € silver highlights idefix. The face represents the evolution of the character since the creation of comics until today. The bottom of the currency is covered with bubbles, echoing the world of comics.

The reverse is common to the three currencies. It represents Asterix coming out of an explosion worthy of a comic strip. The cult character seems to have taken magic potion and is determined, ready to defeat the Romans.
