Obverse

On the face of this play, an imposing prehistoric monster is in the foreground. In the background, Professor Otto Lidenbrock carefully observes the horizon. In the center, the raft sailing on the "Lindenbrock Sea" fails to collide with two marine creatures in the middle of a duel. The characters of this fiction, evolving in a mineral universe are represented on the right. On the left, a reference to the runic characters that guided the adventurers until the entrance to the Sneffels volcano is inscribed in a giant fungus. In the background stands the Italian volcano Stromboli by which the explorers emerge from the center of the earth. The title of the work is at the center of the currency, and the vintage and the name of the author at the bottom.

Reverse

The reverse is common to the whole series "The art of the pen". We can see there registered several emblematic quotes such as "the best is the enemy of Voltaire" of Voltaire, "Lascate Ogne Speranza Voi Ch'intrate" by Dante Alighieri, "to be or not to be, that is the question" of William Shakespeare or "was Mich Nicht Umbringt Macht Mich Stärker" by Nietzsche. A feather is engraved in the center of the room. Below, the title of the series is present. The mention "RF" is present at the bottom of the room as well as the hallmark of Joaquin Jimenez and the engraving workshop.
