Obverse

On the face of this piece, a shell stands on the left, reference to earth to the moon. On the right, the whole team has observed the moon from their orbit shell, this time references to the moon. Among them are Impey Barbicane, Michel Ardan (Anagram of Nadar, a friend of Jules Verne), Captain Nicholl, Dog Diane, as well as one of the hens on board the space machine. The titles of the earth to the moon and around the moon are at the center, the name of the author is placed in the moon and the vintage at the bottom.

Reverse

The reverse is common to the whole series "The art of the pen". We can see there registered several emblematic quotes such as "the best is the enemy of Voltaire" of Voltaire, "Lascate Ogne Speranza Voi Ch'intrate" by Dante Alighieri, "to be or not to be, that is the question" of William Shakespeare or "was Mich Nicht Umbringt Macht Mich Stärker" by Nietzsche. A feather is engraved in the center of the room. Below, the title of the series is present. The mention "RF" is present at the bottom of the room as well as the hallmark of Joaquin Jimenez and the engraving workshop.
