The Paris 2024 currency collection does not only deal with sport, but also the heritage of the host country. Particularly for this edition, the games will be held in the heart of the city, and this is the reason why the emblematic Parisian places will be honored. In 2022, the Garnier Opera was presented. Built for the Emperor Napoleon III, this building is dedicated to music and ballet. It was inaugurated in 1875, after the death of the Emperor, and today trained, with the Opera Bastille, the Paris National Opera.

Reverse

The reverse common to the series presents a view of Paris where the Seine takes on the appearance of the athletics track. The Eiffel Tower dominates the city and illuminates the competition.
