Greece 2014 - 2 euro commemorative - Ionian islands
Obverse
The internal part of the room represents a seven-branch star with the inscription in Greek: "150 years from the Union of the Ionian Islands (Eptanisa) with Greece1864-2014", the name of the emitting country "Hellenic Republic" with Below the workshop mark of the Greek currency. Between each branch of the star appear the symbols of the Ionian islands with around a decorative frieze of stylized wave.
Reverse
Map of the European Union on the right part of the heart and overflowing on the crown, between two series of six parallel vertical lines, each marked with a star; On the right, on the crown, LL signature of the Luc luyckx engraver in a monogram.
