L. M. Montgomery (1874-1942), one of the most loved Canadian writers of all time, changed the cultural and literary landscape on an international scale. Having signed hundreds of news and poems, as well as 20 novels, she entered the pantheon of literature by giving birth to one of the most unforgettable characters in the world: a courageous and voluble orphan with red braids, a bunch of Emotions, a lot of imagination and a love for Prince Edward Island as deep as that of its designer.

This commemorative traffic part of $ 1,2024 pays tribute to L. Montgomery, an emblematic figure in Canadian literature with a global readership of several million people. The author of Anne of the house with green gables is the first writer to appear on a Canadian traffic piece, and the reason celebrating the 150ᵉ anniversary of his birth is - rightly - an ode to her creativity. Each special roll of colored parts includes 25 commemorative pieces enhanced with a selective coloring. On the reverse of each, touches of colors embellish a typical landscape of the Prince Edward Island, an island which inspired the writer for many stories and, thanks to her, the whole world.
