This is the date on which the country has granted the right to vote to women, thus opening the way to equal political participation and a more democratic society. Today, while we celebrate the 75 years of female suffrage in Belgium, it is essential to return to this historic advance, to explore the struggles led by women for gender equality and to assess where we are Today.
