Obverse

The face of the currency represents paavo nurmi in full effort. In the background, you can see an athletics track to recall the discipline in which it excels and a bay crown which is associated with victory and glory.

Reverse

The reverse presents the emblem of the 1924 Paris Games, the coat of arms of the City of Paris with the boat in reference to the city's foundation on the Ile de la Cité. The 100 -year mention is also present as a reminder of the centenary of the summer games in Paris which is common to the series.
