UNESCO - Place de la Concorde - Currency of 10 euro money - BE 2017
Obverse
The upper part of the room represents the Place de la Concorde with the Obelisk de Louxor and the Fontaine des Flres, then the Madeleine church in the background. The fountain and the top of the obelisk are magnified by a gold deposit. The lower part represents the interior of the hemicycle: the sessions room of the National Assembly. We also discover the facade of the Bourbon Palace and 9 of the 12 ancient Greek style columns placed on the triangular pediment. In the center, the words "French Republic" are readable by rotating the 180 ° piece.
Reverse
The reverse, common to the series, is divided in two. The UNESCO logo, the vintage, the facial value and the name of the "Rives de Seine" series are located on the left and an aerial view of the site of the two monuments appeared on the right. The two parts are connected by the Seine's journey through Paris and two points indicate the location of the monuments honored.
