Marie -Antoinette à la Rose - Currency of € 50 1/4 Oz or - BE 2023
Obverse
The face represents one of the works of Elisabeth Vigée Le Brun: Marie-Antoinette with the pink painted in 1783. The currencies focused on Marie-Antoinette. The stamp "chiefs
of museums' work "which signs all the currencies in this series was added at the top right and mixes with the work. The particularity of the € 10 money is that it is colorized. Little Trianon, in which the work is exhibited is an integral part of the drawing since it represents one of the sections of the frame. The name of the work, that of the artist as well as the 2023 vintage complete the decor.
Reverse
The reverse is common to the series, it presents a mixture of views of several great French museums: top left, it is an interior view of the Orsay museum, recognizable by its superb clock. Next to it, there is a view of the Louvre facade, visible from the Napoleon court (where the very famous pyramid is located). Below these two elements, we see a fresco present on the Salé hotel which houses the Picasso museum. The lower part of the reverse exposes a view of the facade of the Biron hotel which is the current Rodin museum. Above, we find the famous staircase at the Center Pompidou. The facial value, the mention "French Republic" as well as the different of the Monnaie de Paris are also registered on this reverse.
