Obverse

The collection of currencies Paris 2024 does not only deal with sport, but also the heritage of the host country. Particularly for this edition, the games will be held in the heart of the city, and this is the reason why the emblematic Parisian places will be honored. In 2022, I'Garnier opera is present. Built for the Emperor Napoleon III, this building is dedicated to music and ballet. It was inaugurated in 1875, after the death of the emperor, and forms today, with theBastille opera, I'Paris National Opera.

Reverse

The reverse common to the series presents a view of Paris where the Seine looks like an athletics track. There Eiffel Tower dominates the city and illuminates the competition.
