Eleventh and penultimate play in the series dedicated to colorful creatures. This series of 12 pieces illustrated by animals will be issued to the rhythm of a room every quarters during the years 2016 to 2019. Partially colored, these pieces have the particularity of being luminescent in the dark, just like certain species Nocturnes, the animals on these twelve pieces become active at night by creating a light effect.

- The internal part of the room represents a otter in its natural habitat with in the background a second otter tasting a fish in front of a water cascade. In the lower part, the inscription "Fischotter" (otter) and the 2019 vintage.

The reverse is a composition common to this series with a representation of the 12 animals of this series La Chauve-Souris, the Tiger, the Crocodile, the Martin-Fisher, the Wolf, the Parrot, the Shark, the owl, the frog, the turtle, otter and crayfish. Between animals, stylized representations of the flora and the name of the emitting country "Republik Osterreich" and the nominal value 3 Euro.

The otter: semi-aquatic member of the Beletttes family, thanks to its waterproof fur, its aerodynamic shape and its stabilizing tail, the otter is an excellent swimmer and diver.
