Yaroslav the Wise was a Grand Duke of kyiv (1019-1054). It was during his reign that the code of "Rus' justice" of ancient Rus was composed and adopted, that Christianity was definitively established in Rus and culture developed. Yaroslav the Wise was buried in St. Sophia Cathedral in kyiv.

REVERSE

Saint Sophia Cathedral in kyiv is a historical, architectural and mural monument of the first half of the 11th century, which is famous throughout the world.
