Since 2014, the Netherlands has changed these parts by replacing the portrait of Queen Béatrix present on these Dutch pieces since 1999 by the new King Willem-Alexander. The graphics of the national face of all the pieces in euros in the Netherlands represents a facet portrait of the new Willem-Alexander King based on the Dutch landscape fragmented and symbolizes the diversity of the population of the Netherlands.
