The room has been tackled, which is the most exclusive method of refinement of the parts. The obverse and the reverse were covered with black ruthenium, a rare transitional metal which has become a perfect backdrop for the Marianne virgin. The Maid Marian itself was decorated with 24 carat gold.

Thanks to the combination of ruthenium and gold, the part gains in value and seems really unique. Dark ruthene highlights splendor, and gold exposes the richness of the techniques used. This has resulted in a unique and contrasting effect which harmonizes with each other. The complex work makes the play an exceptional masterpiece of the art of money.
