Young girl blowing in a glass pipe - currency of € 50 or 1/4 oz - be 2023
Obverse
The face represents one of Kitagawa Utamaro's works: Young girl blowing in a glass pipe, painted in 1794. The currencies of € 50 and 10 € focus on the girl while the money of € 200 takes up the entire table. The print "masterpiece of museums" which signs all the currencies in this series has been added at the top right and mixes with the work. The peculiarity of the € 10 money is that it is colorized and in the background we can distinguish the dome from the Library of the Guimet Museum.
On the 50€, we can also distinguish the dome from the Library of the Guimet Museum in the background. The name of the work, that of the artist as well as the 2023 vintage complete the decor.
Reverse
The reverse is common to the series, it presents a mixture of views of several great French museums: top left, it is an interior view of the Orsay Museum, recognizable by his superb clock. Next to it, there is a view of the Louvre facade, visible from the Napoleon court (where the very famous pyramid is located). Below these two elements, we see a fresco present on the Salé hotel which houses the Picasso museum. The lower part of the reverse exposes a view of the facade of the Biron hotel which is the current Rodin museum. Above, we find the famous staircase of Centre Pompidou. The facial value, the mention "French Republic" as well as the different of the Monnaie de Paris are also registered on this reverse.
