Parts of 1, 2 and 5 cents - Oak branch, recall of the motif formerly adorning the pfennigs.
Parts of 10, 20 and 50 cents - Porte de Brandenburg in Berlin symbol of German unification.
Part of 1 and 2 euros - Federal eagle, symbol of German sovereignty, which was already stylized differently, on the parts of 1 and 5 Deutsche Marks.
