 Belgium commemorates the hundredth anniversary of the Belgian-Luxembourg economic union. This Belgian-Luxembourg Economic Union Treaty (UEBL) was signed on July 25, 1921. Economic and monetary relations of the Kingdom of Belgium and Luxembourg have developed in this context. Between 1944 and 1999 (introduction of the euro) the Belgian franc and the Luxembourg franc had the same parity. Two versions are offered: one in Flemish and the other in Walloon.
