The golden yellow flower of the dandelion, its serrated leaves and its puff of spherical seeds make it immediately recognizable, but not everyone sees the plant in the same way. For many, it's just a boring bad grass, while for others, it is the most underestimated plant, which provides an important source of food for birds and insects at the start of the season. Humans use dandelion both as a food and as a plant -based remedy for centuries and many believe that it has mystical and magical qualities, a large part of its folklore being linked to its ability to answer questions or bring luck. In the language of flowers, dandelion represents "a wish that has become reality".
Unlike most other plants, dandelion is responsible for many myths and superstitions specifically linked to its seed head. Some say that the wishes formulated by blowing the seeds of the plant will be granted, others that you can send a message to a loved one by focusing on what you would like to transmit by blowing the seeds in its direction. The dandelions are linked to perseverance, to force in adversity, to the clarity of the goal and it is believed that they give courage and a bravery of lion even in daily battles. It is said that they represent the qualities of heat, radiation, enlightenment, healing, hope, transformation and growth. In addition to all this, dandelion is one of the happiest signs that winter is over and spring has arrived. So, what is there not to love in this little resistant "bad grass"?
