Miniset Austria - Official Emission - BU 2019
This Austrian series in an annual box brings together the eight cuts of money in euros at the 2019 vintage, struck in BU quality (universal brilliant) celebrating the 825th anniversary of the Austrian currency foundation. Established with the ransom paid in 1194 for the liberation of King Richard 'The heart of Lion' of England, which had been held in the castle of Dürnstein since 1192 by the Duke Léopold V of Austria.
- Parts of 1, 2 and 5 cents - The elements of the flora with a gentian, an edelweiss traditional symbol of the Austrian identity and the primrose of the Alps, all from the floral series, which recalls the ecological duty of Austria and its role in the implementation of A community environment policy.
- Parts of 10, 20 and 50 cents - Cathedral of Saint-Etienne, one of the jewels of Viennese Gothic architecture; The Belvedere, one of the most beautiful Austrian palaces of Baroque style and the secession palace in Vienna, symbol of the birth of Art Nouveau in Austria.
- 1 euro part - Effigy of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and his signature, famous Austrian composer, in tribute to the musical culture of the country.
